Fleet Finder

Fleet Finder is a solo take on the classic sea-battle game. Five ships are hidden on an 8×8 grid: one four squares long, two of three and two of two. Fire at any square to learn whether you hit or missed.

Ships always lie in a straight line and never touch one another, not even at the corners. That gives you a lot to reason with: once a ship is sunk, every square around it must be empty water. You have 38 shots to find all fourteen ship squares, and the ship counter at the top turns red as each vessel goes down. Shooting in a checkerboard pattern is the classic way to start.

Fire at squares to find and sink all five ships before your 38 shots run out.
