Treasure Dig

Treasure Dig is a deduction game set on a sandy island. A chest is buried under one of 64 squares. Dig anywhere and the square shows a number: how many steps the chest is from that spot, counting across and down but never diagonally.

Two or three well-chosen digs are usually enough to pin the chest down exactly. You begin with nine digs. Every chest you uncover hides the next one somewhere new and gives you five more digs, up to a maximum of twelve in hand. See how many chests you can collect before the shovel wears out.

Dig squares and read the distance clues to locate the chest. Finding a chest gives you five more digs (twelve at most). The game ends when you have no digs left.
