Ball Sort

Ball Sort is a calm sorting puzzle. A rack of tubes holds a jumble of coloured balls, four to a tube, with two empty tubes to work with. Lift the top ball from one tube and drop it into any tube that has room, and keep going until every tube contains four balls of one colour.

In this version a ball may be dropped on top of any colour, so you are never completely stuck, but careless moves make the job much longer. The move counter shows how you are doing, and Undo takes back as many moves as you like. The first rack has three colours; each rack you finish adds more, up to six. Every rack is made by mixing up a sorted one, so every rack can be solved.

Move one ball at a time until each tube holds four balls of the same colour. Your score is the number of racks sorted.
