Paint by Number

Paint by Number is a calm colouring activity. A 12×12 grid is covered in small numbers, and each number belongs to one of four paint pots. Choose a pot, then tap the squares showing that number — or drag across them — to fill them in. Only the right colour will go on, so you cannot make a mistake.

As the squares fill, the picture appears: first a heart, then a flower, then a fish. There is no clock and no score to chase. It suits young children who are learning numbers and colours, and anyone who simply wants a quiet few minutes.
