After a pause, Titus continued, “Even if I hadn’t said anything, Lennox would have made all the necessary arrangements in advance. He wouldn’t replace the decorations on the first floor. Those are the most valuable items. The ones upstairs are just small decorations and aren’t worth as much.”
“He can also blame everything on his children and grandchildren. We’re not confident that we can win that fight. Since we aren’t confident, let them spend more money to redeem the genuine items. That alone will be a major blow to their family.”
“Besides, they’ll leave traces and give us leverage if they do it. Keep a close eye on the whereabouts of Lennox’s family. If you find out they’ve gone to redeem genuine antiques, catch them red-handed. With solid evidence, they won’t have any way to defend themselves.”
“When we get the genuine items back, we’ll have made Lennox and his family spend a fortune, and we’ll also have evidence to hold them accountable. I won’t let them off the hook just because they redeemed the genuine items.”
