Joaquin narrowed his eyes. “Where’s your car? Don’t you always drive some flashy luxury vehicle? Why the scooter tonight? And it’s not even registered — is it new?”
Alex replied casually, “That luxury car? It belongs to my sister-in-law. I just borrowed it a few times to enjoy the feeling.”
He patted his scooter. “Honestly, riding one of these in the city is way more convenient. Nothing wrong with choosing practicality.”
