Word Scramble

Word Scramble shows you the letters of a common five- or six-letter word in the wrong order. Tap the letters one by one to spell it correctly. Get it right and a new word appears with six extra seconds on the clock.

If the letters you chose do not make the word, they simply drop back and you can try again. Undo removes the last letter, and if you are completely stuck you can skip a word for a four-second penalty. You start with a minute. It is good spelling practice for young readers and a pleasant warm-up for everyone else.

Spell the hidden word using all the letters. Each solved word adds 6 seconds. Skipping costs 4 seconds. The game ends when time runs out.
