Number Hunt

Number Hunt is a Schulte table, a well-known exercise for attention and peripheral vision. The numbers 1 to 25 are placed at random in a 5×5 grid. Tap 1, then 2, then 3, and keep going all the way to 25 while the clock runs.

Numbers you have found fade out. Tapping a number that is too high adds a one-second penalty. A time under thirty seconds is quick, and the common training advice is to keep your eyes on the centre of the grid and find the numbers without looking around. Every game uses a new layout, so you cannot learn it by heart.

Tap the numbers in ascending order from 1 to 25. Your result is the time taken, including penalties.
