Hendrix was about to make tea for Avah.
“I don’t want tea or coffee anymore. Just pour me a glass of warm water.”
Avah didn’t refuse her fiancé’s thoughtful gesture. She had been in meetings since returning to the company and then met with clients. Only now did she finally have a chance to catch her breath. She still had plenty of documents to deal with.
After Hendrix helped her with some of the work, she was able to sit for a while, drink some water, and chat with him.
