“Titus, I’m busy right now. Let’s talk another day when I have some free time.” Sonny wanted to hang up the phone.
Titus said, “When are you ever free? You’re busy every day, even busier than I am.”
Sonny said, “All right. When you get here, we’ll have a few drinks together. That’s all for now. I have to get back to work. Without you here to help me, I’m managing two large corporations all by myself. I’m so busy I barely even have time to drink water.”
“Are my aunt and uncle still with you?” Sonny suddenly asked.
Titus said, “They’re still living at my house, hanging out with my mom and Master, causing trouble and stirring things up in my Labbe clan every day. They’re also teaching those hypocritical clansmen who don’t genuinely support me a lesson.”
Titus sighed. “Sonny, we’re young and not as experienced as the older generation. That’s a fact. Even when they’re the ones who start trouble, they always manage to make it look as though the other side is at fault. It’s infuriating for Old Man Labbe.”
The elders in the clan who didn’t genuinely support Titus and were always trying to cause trouble for him were accomplices of Lennox and Timothy.
