Duncan made the suggestion again.
“Go upstairs and take a nap later. I’ll wake you when it’s time for lunch. What do you want to eat?”
Liberty said, “I’m not going to sleep anymore. I’m going out for a walk and enjoy the scenery.”
Duncan said, “It’s just the two of us for lunch, so we’ll make something simple and light. We’re tired of eating big, meaty meals every day.”
Liberty said, “Let’s cook lunch together. We both have to work, and neither of us has it easy. When we get home, we should share the housework. I can’t let you do everything yourself.”
Duncan laughed.
