The two eventually arrived at the Gratton family’s residence.
Sonny had always come to Donimingon for business and left as soon as his work was finished. This was his first time attending a banquet hosted by Donimingon’s high society.
He barely knew any of the major figures in Donimingon’s business world unless his company had a business relationship with them. He had heard of some of the prominent businessmen, but he had never met most of them in person.
Winnie was different. She had been born and raised in Donimingon and had attended various events with her grandfather since she was a child. She was very familiar with the city’s social circle.
The car entered the Gratton family’s large villa. The butler directed them where to park.
When he saw Sonny’s license plate, the butler paused in confusion, probably because he had never seen that license plate before.
Then he remembered that everyone arriving had been personally invited by Old Mr. Gratton and would have an invitation. Any unfamiliar license plate probably belonged to one of Old Mr. Gratton’s new friends.
