“Mr. Brown, do I look ridiculous? My grandfather picked out this evening gown for me, but I just don’t feel comfortable wearing it.”
Sonny looked her up and down and praised her sincerely. “You don’t look ridiculous at all. You look stunning in that gown. You look even better than I imagined.”
Winnie said, “I rarely wear formal attire. I’m used to wearing suits.”
