Jennifer noticed that everyone’s teacups were nearly empty and got up to brew another pot.
“Jennifer, there’s no need.”
Serenity stopped her with a smile.
“We’ve already had several cups. If we drink any more tea, none of us will be able to sleep tonight.”
Jane nodded in agreement.
“Dinner will be ready soon. No more tea. Sit down with Titus and rest for a while before we eat.”
She added, “We originally planned to take your Uncle Zack and Aunt Seren out for dinner, but your Aunt Seren insisted that a simple meal at home would be much better.”
