Didn’t you just say I was free to choose someone myself? Well, I already have.”
The elders exchanged glances, their eyes lighting up. Pretending to be surprised, Lennox asked, “Which family’s daughter has caught the Patriarch’s eye? Tell us, and we’ll arrange the marriage proposal.”
