Lennox exchanged glances with the others before turning to Jennifer. He offered a warm, fatherly smile, as though he genuinely cared about Titus and was speaking as an elder.
“Patriarch, we’ve come today for two main reasons. First, now that you’ve officially taken over the family, we should choose an auspicious date to host a banquet for our relatives, friends, and business leaders.
This banquet will publicly affirm your position as the head of the family. Our family has always held such a banquet whenever a new Patriarch takes office.”
“It’s a tradition that should be upheld.”
Titus nodded. “Since it’s a family tradition, I’ll naturally follow it. There’s no need to rush, though. We can discuss it later. When you uncles have time, please select a few auspicious dates, and I’ll choose one.
I’d also like to ask Uncle Lennox to help draft the banquet plan. I’ve only recently taken over and don’t know much about these arrangements, so I’ll have to rely on all of you for a while.
Depending on the schedule, I’ll also need to hold a press conference. I promised the media I’d answer their questions after taking office.”
