Timothy’s face darkened again. He yanked the office door open, stormed out, and slammed it shut behind him with a loud bang.
“Young Master, your words were pretty harsh,” Jennifer said.
Titus laughed. “That’s exactly the point—show no mercy. I have no reason to be sentimental with them.”
Jennifer couldn’t help but smile. “Timothy won’t give up.”
“I hope he doesn’t,” Titus replied. “I’m more worried that he will. Fighting him is pointless anyway. He’s no match for me. The only one with any real ability is the old man behind him. Timothy is nothing more than a pawn in his father’s game.
His father planned everything for him—from what to do to where to go. He’s only capable of maintaining the status quo in business. It’s unrealistic to expect him to take the company to the next level.
