Titus said, “The food’s been ready for a while now. Mom, Master, let’s eat first.”
He and Jennifer led the two elders into the dining room while the servants quickly brought out the prepared dishes one after another.
Knowing the two elders’ tastes—and knowing they still hated wasting food despite living luxurious lives for decades—Titus had specifically ordered simple home-style dishes.
There were only six dishes and one soup.
Just enough for four people without wasting anything.
Jennifer instinctively moved to serve everyone as usual.
But before she could start, Jane called out, “Jennifer, why are you still standing there? Come sit down. Sit next to your mother. Don’t stand.”
