She clearly disliked the idea.
Timothy waved it off.
“Alonzo is only in his early thirties—how is that old? He’s not from our clan, so there’s no such thing as generational differences. You’re twenty-five. You’re a perfect match.”
“He’s older, so he’ll know how to take care of you. The Ormond family has an excellent reputation—countless women would fight for the chance to marry into it.”
He paused, then added bluntly,
“If you weren’t my daughter, I wouldn’t even consider introducing you to him.”
“And if you really think Alonzo is too old, then Angelo will do. He’s a bit younger.”
