Serenity said, “Taking care of one child is the same as taking care of two. How could I not have time? No matter how many children you have, your aunt will help raise them. I’m just worried you’ll think I’m too old and not capable enough to take good care of them.”
Sonny smiled. “How could that be? You and Uncle are both great at raising children. Just look at how well you’ve raised Baby and Belle.”
Serenity replied, “Baby was mostly influenced by his great-grandmother—it’s not just my doing.”
Even though the old lady was their great-grandmother, she had only personally raised the first few children. Among the younger generation, Baby and Kevin’s twins, Colson and Colton, were the ones most influenced by her.
Serenity sighed softly. “Baby’s great-grandmother was an incredible woman. It’s a pity she didn’t dedicate herself to education back then.”
Sonny said, half-joking, “If she were still around, I’d definitely send my kids to her after they’re born and let her take care of them.”
Serenity smiled faintly. “Yes… that would be wonderful.”
