Sonny smiled. “Alright, we’re coming out now.”
After hanging up, he turned to the Francoeur grandfather and granddaughter. “Baby’s here. They’re waiting at the entrance.”
Winnie helped her grandfather to his feet.
Chairman Francoeur said thoughtfully, “From the voice, that sounded like a little child.”
“That’s Baby’s youngest cousin,” Sonny explained. “He’s only one year old. It’s summer break, so he’s clinging to his older siblings all day. Even his parents revolve around him.”
Chairman Francoeur felt a wave of envy.
The York family was large, prosperous, thriving. If the Francoeur family had just a few more children, he would laugh in his sleep.
