“Levi, we have guests coming over today,” Baby said patiently while driving. “Your big brother is in charge of hosting them, so he’s busy. How about we go in a couple of days?”
Levi frowned. “Didn’t you say Cousin Sonny is family? He’s not an outsider.”
As far back as he could remember, Cousin Sonny had always been family.
Baby smiled. “Cousin Sonny brought two important guests. Think about it—why aren’t your uncle, aunt, and grandma working today? It’s summer break.”
Levi answered seriously, “Why would we have school during summer break?”
Baby laughed. “You kids get summer vacation. Big brothers don’t. We still have responsibilities.”
Levi blinked. “Big brother, you don’t get summer break? Then…”
