Chairman Francoeur said politely, “I’ll trouble you again at 2 PM, Mr. Brown.”
He truly was tired. After all, he was getting older, and his energy couldn’t compare to that of a young person anymore.
Winnie also stood and said, “Please show us to our rooms first, Mr. Brown. We’ll see you at 2.”
Sonny nodded. “Of course.”
After sitting for a short while longer, Sonny rose and escorted the grandfather and granddaughter downstairs.
The room he had arranged for them was on the same floor as his—also a presidential suite.
“I thought it would be best for Chairman Francoeur to stay close by,” Sonny explained. “So I booked a suite for you on the same floor as mine. It’s much more convenient.”
