Caleb said, “There’s no need to rush back to your hometown. Our brothers will probably come here for a few days soon. Don’t forget—your sister is with us now. Whenever our brothers have a break, they go wherever your sister is.”
Corbin sighed. “Brother, what I really mean is… can I have a relaxing summer without homework? It’s not just about my brothers.”
Caleb laughed. “I know. That’s why I told you to stay here. I’m the only one supervising your studies.”
Belle stepped in. “Brother Caleb, don’t scare Corbin. With his intelligence, he won’t fall behind even if he relaxes a bit in junior high. Let him enjoy his summer vacation. Don’t burden him with everything Uncle Tatum went through.”
Corbin immediately grabbed Belle’s arm and smiled sweetly.
“I knew my sister was the best,” he said proudly. “Unlike my brother, who’s always nagging me to study, do homework, and take tests. I just started junior high. If I were already in senior year, he’d definitely push me to the limit.”
Belle smiled. “Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Believe in yourself. Studying matters, but mental and physical health matter more. I want you to always be happy. Brother Caleb, don’t pressure Corbin too much. Everyone in our family is good at studying.”
