Married At First Sight Chapter 5176

“Do you think Sister Avah has time to come visit?” Caleb asked. “I really miss her.”

Titus glanced at him. “Caleb, don’t tell me you’re setting your sights on my sister. Let me make this clear—Avah doesn’t like relationships where the woman is older. You’re younger than her; she wouldn’t be interested. And honestly, while you’re the fifth young master of the York family, you haven’t achieved much yet. You’re not good enough for her.”

He paused, then added, “Your older brother might still have a chance.”

Caleb quickly shook his head. “Brother Titus, you’ve misunderstood. I didn’t mean it that way. When we were kids, we always spent holidays together with Sister Avah and the others. We’re just used to being around you all during winter and summer breaks. Sister Avah is outstanding—I wouldn’t dare have improper thoughts. If I look for a wife someday, though, I hope she’ll be someone like Sister Avah.”

Caleb’s affection for Avah was that of a younger brother toward an older sister—pure and uncomplicated.

He knew he wasn’t worthy of her, and Uncle Ben would never allow Avah to marry far away, just as they wouldn’t allow Belle to do so.

Avah also had a childhood sweetheart who had protected her since they were young and had long set his sights on her. The parents of both families had already reached an understanding to arrange a marriage.
