Caleb turned to glance at Jennifer’s impassive face. She wasn’t the least bit worried about offending Brother Titus.
She was his bodyguard—nothing more, nothing less. Her only responsibility was his safety.
“All right, let’s go sit,” Titus said.
Though he claimed not to care about Jennifer, he still chose a shaded spot so she could rest.
Caleb smiled and led the way.
The two soon arrived at a pavilion in the backyard.
