Without solid proof, we can’t accuse him outright. Acting rashly would only turn him into a powerful enemy of the Labbe family.”
Old Mr. Labbe fell silent for a moment, then said slowly, “In a territory our family has controlled for over a hundred years, we still can’t uncover his background. That alone proves he’s no ordinary person. Logically speaking, even if the Johnson family and the York family joined forces, they shouldn’t have this level of influence.”
Timothy frowned. “Could it be that Landen really isn’t Titus?”
Deep down, Old Mr. Labbe desperately hoped that was the case.
