Several black sedans wound their way along a mountain road, climbing a flat-topped hill before finally stopping at the end of the road, in front of the old Labbe family residence.
The security guards at the gate immediately recognized the convoy. They opened the gates at once, stepped out of the guardhouse, and stood at attention as the lead Maybach drove inside.
The vehicles entered the estate and came to a stop before the main courtyard.
The bodyguards’ car opened first. Several men in black suits exited quickly and positioned themselves in front of the Maybach.
Then the car door opened.
