“They’re already up,” the nanny replied. “They probably went out for a walk and should be back soon.”
Aitana nodded. “I’ll go for a twenty-minute run, then shower. I didn’t shower last night.”
The nanny smiled. “Go ahead.”
Aitana stepped outside and had just opened the door when she saw her uncle and aunt returning.
“Uncle, Aunt—you’re back already?”
They had gone out at dawn, worried about keeping patients waiting.
Aunt Pollock smiled. “Did you sleep well?”
