Alex reminded Trenton, “When you take Cairo out to play, keep an eye on him. Don’t let him wander too far.”
“We won’t,” Trenton replied. “We’ll just stay around the neighborhood.”
He knew how protective the York family was. Cairo’s face was strictly kept out of the media before he turned eighteen. If any photos surfaced, Zachary would immediately step in to have them taken down.
“Good,” Alex said. “We’ll take him back to Wildridge Manor this weekend. He can run around freely there.”
Cairo looked up excitedly. “Uncle Trenton, are we really going back to Wildridge Manor this weekend?”
“Yes,” Trenton said. “Your Aunt Lilian will be there, so we’ll all go back together. Don’t you want to go? Your great-grandmother misses you very much.”
The last time they returned to Wildridge Manor, the old lady decided to stay there.
