Aitana smiled faintly. “Auntie, Alex and I haven’t even known each other that long. Counting the time he was in the hospital, it’s been… about two months. How could he like me already? And besides, liking someone isn’t the same as loving them. He might just be like this with everyone. I noticed he treated Joaquin politely too. He’s from a wealthy family, raised with good manners. He’s kind to everyone.”
She added, “Since we’re both unmarried, it’s easy to overthink.”
