Callum walked over, gently coaxing her. “I still have to play with the kids later. A dress isn’t very practical. I’ll just wear this.”
Camryn didn’t insist. “Even when it gets cold, I can still wear a dress. Winter dresses work just fine.”
Then she urged, “Go change your clothes too. And check on our son—see if Cairo’s awake.”
Callum hadn’t been trying to force her; he’d just made a suggestion. She had a point—running around with the kids all day wasn’t ideal in a dress.
He said, “When it’s not a school day, that kid wakes up before sunrise. But when he has to go to school, calling him is useless.”
