“Yeah,” Baby said. “It’s the big supermarket in Wiltspoon. It’s always crowded, and lots of kids go there to play at night.”
“Then I’ll go too, Aunt Seren,” Milo said eagerly. “I’ll sleep at your house tonight and go to school with Baby tomorrow.”
He tugged on his grandmother’s arm, pleading, “Grandma, please let me go home with Aunt Seren and play there tonight.”
Mrs. Bucham gently tapped his forehead. “Don’t go to Aunt Seren’s house so often. You’ll disturb her rest.”
Serenity smiled. “It’s fine, Auntie. Milo won’t bother me. If he comes over, Baby will have company. Even Belle will be thrilled to have another brother to play with. Now that we live in the city, school’s close by, and with Grandma staying with us, Belle doesn’t get to play with her cousins as often.”
Belle, now more talkative, asked Serenity almost every day when her other brothers were coming over to play. Usually, the children only gathered on weekends.
“You’re only staying for one night,” Mrs. Bucham warned her grandson. “Be good, and don’t be as naughty and noisy as you are at home.”
