The old lady looked at Alex and said, “See, listen to Dr. Pollock—her words are so pleasant. Now think about what you just said. Can you even compare?”
Alex sighed dramatically. “See, Dr. Pollock? My grandma’s completely biased. Good thing my eldest sister-in-law gave her a great-granddaughter, or she’d be even worse.”
Aitana had heard a bit about the York family from her hospital director. She knew the eldest son had a daughter—Belle—and that the family doted on her endlessly.
To this day, no one outside had seen a clear photo of the child.

Even though the York children could go out freely, few people recognized them.
When Alex joined the hospital, no one imagined he was a York.
