Dustin nodded. “For a reclusive family like the Quintons, ordinary treasures don’t mean much anymore. But the Nascent Soul Pill is different—it can create a Nascent Soul expert. Whoever obtains it will likely gain an overwhelming advantage in the upcoming game.”
Scarlet frowned slightly. “What about us? Should we compete for it too?”
Dustin fell silent for a moment before answering. “We should compete—but the Nascent Soul Pill itself isn’t necessarily our goal.”
