“Dad, what do you think?” Mrs. Francoeur asked her father-in-law.
Grandpa Francoeur set down his chopsticks, took out his phone, and opened his photo gallery. He found a group photo of himself, Winnie, and Sonny, then handed the phone over.
Pointing at Sonny, he asked, “What do you think of this young man?”
The moment Mrs. Francoeur saw the photo, her eyes lit up.
She smiled. “Dad, who is he? He and Winnie look like a perfect match—truly made for each other. He looks upright, refined… definitely someone extraordinary.”
“He is,” Grandpa Francoeur replied. “He’s the nephew of the matriarch of the York family. His mother is the head of the Farrell family in Jensburg, and his stepfather, Duncan Lewis, owns Lewis & Co. in Wiltspoon.
“This trip Winnie and I took was to work with Lewis & Co. The company is now managed by him—his name is Sonny Brown. Besides that, he has his own business. He’s capable, gentle, and well-mannered. Being around him is genuinely pleasant.
