“Uncle, Aunt.”
After getting out of the car, Sonny greeted everyone with a smile. Then he walked to the back with Baby, opened the trunk, and started taking out several gift boxes.
After Serenity and Zachary greeted Chairman Francoeur, Serenity turned to her nephew and said, “Sonny, you bought so many things again. We already have everything we need at home, including a huge pile of supplements we can’t even finish. And you still keep buying more.”
Baby explained, “I told my cousin not to, but both he and Miss Winnie insisted before I even parked the car. They bought all these supplements. Miss Winnie said since we were coming to disturb you today, we couldn’t show up empty-handed.”
Serenity looked at Winnie. “Winnie, you’re too thoughtful.”
Winnie replied politely, “It’s just a small token of appreciation. I hope Aunt Seren won’t mind.”
“Of course I don’t mind,” Serenity said with a smile. “I wouldn’t mind anything you give me. Winnie, you look beautiful today. That dress suits you very well.”
