After ending the call, Nico turned to his younger brother, who was still sniffling. “Levi, didn’t I already tell you? When the other brothers come back to Wildridge Manor for vacation, we’ll all go to Uncle Tatum’s place together. You have to promise not to cry until then. If you cry again, I won’t take you to see Sister.”
Levi immediately wiped his tears away. “Brother, I won’t cry anymore. I promise. When are the other brothers coming back?”
There were still many brothers in school, and Levi didn’t know when they’d return to Wildridge Manor. He was afraid the wait would be too long.
Nico thought for a moment. “High school students are already on vacation, so the others should be on break too. But they don’t study in Wiltspoon City like we do. They can’t come back right away. They’ll have to wait until our uncles have time to pick them up.”
