In her dream, tears streamed down her face as she cried out, “Great-Grandma, don’t go!”
She woke with a start, her face soaked with tears.
The dream terrified her. Instinctively, she reached out toward the person beside her. When her hand touched her great-grandmother, she let out a small sigh of relief.
It was just a dream.
Great-Grandma was still there. She hadn’t gone to find Great-Grandpa yet.
“Great-Grandma,” Belle called softly.
Her great-grandmother was old, but she always woke quickly if Belle called her twice.
