Alex added, “My sister-in-law’s cousin Elisa married Remy, the fifth young master of the Johnathan family. He lives in Wiltspoon, so the Johnson family often comes to visit and stays for a few days.”
Hearing that her idol had a child, Aitana immediately said, “How old is Dr. Carden’s child? I need to prepare a gift for each of the children. I didn’t bring any last time, so I have to make up for it today.”
Alex smiled. “No need. Dr. Carden’s son should be about seven. All the older kids are over six.”
“I still need to prepare something,” Aitana insisted. “And I should bring a gift for Dr. Carden as well. What does she like?”
Alex shook his head. “That’s hard to say. She seems to like everything—and nothing at the same time. Honestly, you don’t need to prepare anything. Just buy toys for the kids.
“You’re going as my friend, not specifically to see her. Bringing gifts would feel too formal, and she might not even like that. She’s very straightforward and doesn’t enjoy unnecessary trouble.”
Alex truly believed gifts weren’t needed.
