Aitana continued, “She even told me to move—far away from her son. I was so angry I had to call security to remove her.”
Alex said, “Joaquin’s mother actually went to your workplace and caused a scene, and you had security kick her out? I’ve always said she’s not someone to mess with—she’s incredibly selfish.” He grew angrier. “She went to your hospital to yell at you and even told you to move out? What gives her the right? Where does she get that kind of attitude?”
“It’s Sunday. Our company is closed. The security guard told her and she finally left.”
Aitana said, “I knew she was unreasonable, but I didn’t expect her to get this outrageous once she dropped the act. We’ll talk when we meet. Wait for me at the hospital entrance or at my clinic.”
By saying that, she agreed to meet Alex for lunch. They continued venting about Joaquin’s mother.
Alex said, “I’ll come pick you up.”
Aitana replied, “Okay. Alright, that’s enough for now. I still have two patients.”
