“Honey.” Serenity quickly stopped Zachary, whispering in a flustered tone, “This is your office. Someone could walk in any second. You haven’t exactly been a monk lately—why are you so impatient? Can’t you wait until we’re home tonight?”
She had just come back from her trip to Eaglioncile. That first night, the two of them had been wild until late, and the next morning, she woke up sore and weak-legged—something she hadn’t experienced in a long time.
Zachary was always considerate of her. Like he said, her health mattered most.
He reluctantly loosened his grip but still held her close, murmuring against her ear, “It’s no fun at home. I’m afraid Belle will wake up in the middle of the night. Once she’s old enough to sleep on her own, then we can really have our time again.”
Serenity flushed red.
She scolded him lightly, “Enough. Go finish your work. I’ll make you some coffee.”
Zachary grinned. “We’ve been married this long and you’re still shy, Seren. That shy look of yours drives me crazy—I just want to eat you up right now.”
