Romina smiled. “I know he’s serious when it comes to relationships. I’ve known him for years. He’s had plenty of women admire and chase after him, but he never gave any of them a chance.”
“He never spread rumors either. He’s very self-disciplined. Even though we’ve always been business rivals, outside of that, I admit—he really is a good man.”
Serenity said, “Once you spend time with them, you realize just how decent they are. Lots of women in Wiltspoon admire them and would love to marry into the family. But relationships can’t be forced. If there’s no spark, there’s no point. They trust their instincts, and so do we. We just support whoever they choose to love, because we trust their judgment.”
Romina laughed, “Sister Seren, that last part sounds like you’re complimenting me.”
